Evonik to Expand Its Position in Powdered Polyamide 12

Offers strong growth potential, especially in 3D printing.

Evonik Industries plans to build a new production line for special polyamide 12 powder (PA12) in Marl, Germany, with an investment volume in the mid double-digit million euro range. The new plant, which is scheduled to become operational in late 2017, will increase the group’s existing annual capacity for polyamide 12 powders by 50%.   The polyamide 12 powders are sold under the brand name VESTOSINT.
